Statement from Mark D. Schmidt, President & CEO

The Spectre M® MT3100 is one of the most capable tactical multiband radios in its class, and we are proud to see it deployed into a U.S. Foreign Military Sales program supporting the Caribbean strategic partner nation’s maritime security mission. A Datron Spectre M® multiband communications backbone gives their maritime forces exactly the kind of secure, interoperable command-and-control capability that Caribbean maritime security demands. This shipment continues our established record of supporting U.S. partner nations through the FMS process.

For Cyberlux and Datron, this delivery is another data point on a clear trend: U.S. partner-nation navies and coast guards continue to choose Datron tactical radio systems for FMS programs because the equipment is reliable, secure, and interoperable.”

Strategic Context

Established FMS track record.  Cyberlux previously announced (March 2025) that Datron secured $1.75 million in follow-on orders from South American naval forces for the Spectre M® MT3100 and Spectre H® RT7700H product lines for naval and land-forces networks. The Caribbean strategic partner nation delivery extends that footprint to Caribbean maritime security partners.

Caribbean maritime security mission.  U.S. FMS support to Caribbean partner nations is a long-standing element of U.S. Southern Command’s regional security cooperation program, including efforts to interdict illicit narcotics flows and strengthen partner-nation patrol and interdiction capability. This delivery contributes a tactical communications layer to that mission.

Datron product fit.  The Spectre M® family is built around a 30–512 MHz multiband software-defined radio architecture with embedded ECCM, AES-256 COMSEC, GPS, and frequency-hopping/encryption waveforms. The 50-watt MT3100 mount is the standard vehicular and shipboard configuration for the HH3100M handheld; this combination is now in service across multiple FMS programs.
